The Role
The Store Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales, building strong customer base, and leading day-to-day store operations. This hands-on position involves managing a small team, maintaining high store standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, all while exceeding business expectations.
Your Responsibilities
* Building sales and establishing a solid customer base - both retail & trade.
* Identifying and attracting new customers, this will be the basis of all tasks.
* Maintaining a strong drive to reach and exceed sales targets.
* Managing day-to-day store operations, including the implementation of business standards.
* Developing effective working relationships with employees and customers.
* Leading a small team and ensuring a safe work environment in accordance with WHS legislation.
* Following all company systems and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in Store/Branch or Department Management (Essential).
* A proven track record of attracting customers and consistently delivering strong results.
* Demonstrated clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to provide effective direction to the team.
* An apperception for process, with examples of successful process implementation.
* The physical capability to pack orders and load vehicles.
* A strong desire to build and maintain a solid customer base across trade, distributor and retail.
* A high standard for store presentation and cleanliness, and thrived in a hands-on, results-driven environment.
* Advanced computer skills.
