About you:
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensure timely delivery of goods and services and maintain accurate records. You'll work closely with suppliers, internal teams and the Procurement Manager to support strategic sourcing and cost-saving initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the procurement cycle: sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods and services
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
* Support the Procurement Manager with strategic category sourcing
* Oversee procurement projects
* Create, release and manage purchase orders, in line with contractual requirements
* Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and relevant regulations
Skills and experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience in purchasing/supply chain
* 3-5 years experience in procurement or supply chain management
* Strong negotiation skills, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Highly proficient in ERP procurement software and Microsoft Excel
