Perinatal Mental Health Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perinatal Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work closely with women, infants, and families to provide specialist care and support in the perinatal period.
Job Description:
* Provide expert mental health assessment and clinical management to women in the perinatal period to promote positive maternal mental health and enhance the parent-infant relationship.
* Assist in providing specialist care to women, infants, and their families within their designated region identified as at risk of, or having, moderate to severe perinatal mental health disorders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
* Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience within Mental Health Services, with a demonstrated understanding of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health clinical practice
* Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (desirable)
