We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Supervisor to support the day‐to‐day operations of our store and help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly, customers receive exceptional service, and the retail environment is safe, organised, and well presented. You will lead by example, support team members on the shop floor, and assist with mentoring and onboarding new team members.
This is a hands‐on role where you will work closely with the Branch Manager and broader team to maintain high standards, drive sales through great service, and ensure customers can easily find the products they need.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
* Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for customers in store.
* Supporting daily store operations including merchandising, stock presentation, and maintaining a clean and organised retail space.
* Assisting customers with product enquiries, purchases, and recommendations to ensure the best solutions for their needs.
* Working with the team to achieve sales targets and drive strong customer satisfaction.
* Supporting the onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management.
* Ensuring store displays and merchandise are presented to a high standard to enhance the shopping experience.
* Maintaining a safe workplace by following safety procedures and identifying hazards.
* Working collaboratively with the Branch Manager and team to ensure smooth day‐to‐day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Previous experience in retail, hardware, building supplies, or a similar customer‐focused environment.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and create positive customer experiences.
* Experience supporting or leading a retail team would be highly regarded.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast‐paced retail environment.
* Confidence in assisting customers with product information and recommendations.
* A positive, hands‐on attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever required.
* Ability to learn and operate point‐of‐sale and retail systems.
* A strong focus on safety and maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
