We are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team to help lead our stores toward continued success.
Job description
As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the retail department, supporting the team, fostering a strong, collaborative relationship with the production team, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire the team to meet sales targets, maintain store standards, and foster a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guaranteeing customers receive timely service and high-quality products and services
* Organising and planning work schedules and assigning tasks to staff
* Supervise and support the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
* Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
* Assist in staff training, mentoring, and performance management and handle difficult and sales procedures.
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to minimize shortages and overstocking.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
* Inspecting returned products and deciding on the appropriate course of action
* Maintain store cleanliness and presentation standards.
* Making sure products and services are accurately priced and displayed
* Responsible for the general running of both retail shops
* Displaying, filling shelves, replenishing or any other method of exposing or presenting goods for sale.
* Providing general advice or information on the organisation’s products and services.
* Create marketing materials, including engaging social media posts, informative newsletters, and visually appealing brochures.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Holding formal qualifications in Leadership and Management or Business
* Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role in retail (minimum 1 year).
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
* Proficiency in digital marketing techniques such as social media management, email campaigns, and beyond.
* Proven ability to meet sales targets and KPIs.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in handling cash, POS systems, and inventory management software.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy retail environment.
* Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and variable shifts as required.
