About The Role
Lake Imaging are seeking experienced Sonographers to join the team in Geelong. You will be a part of our collaborative, committed Sonography team dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities Include
* Conduct a variety of scans including a mix of general, MSK, vascular, obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
* Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work, as well as a state of the art, dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable)
* Weekend and on-call work available.
* Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
About You
* Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
* Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience
* An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular.
* Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 6pm - 8am.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
* Experience with Canon and GE ideal.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
