The role
Funding Grants Administrator
Location: Murarrie, QLD | Employment Type: Full‐time
As part of our Centre Support Team, you will support our centre teams to create high‐quality early learning experiences. You will take the lead in ensuring the success of State Government Kindergarten initiatives and grants, from application to acquittal, and use your expertise to manage funding opportunities that support our kindergarten programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the application, acquisition, and completion of State Government and Federal grants, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and audit requirements.
- Write compelling grant applications and prepare business cases for new funding opportunities.
- Maintain master files, budget, and reporting requirements for all grant‐funded initiatives.
- Coordinate evaluation and monitoring of grant‐funded initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all procurement and reporting processes, and manage audit requirements.
- Inform stakeholders of all aspects of grant management and build relationships with government personnel.
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to support their funding applications.
Qualifications
- Previous experience completing applications for government grants or knowledge of grants administration systems and processes.
- Financially astute, including experience managing budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship‐building capabilities.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent time‐management and organisational skills.
- Experience in an early childhood setting is an advantage.
- Current Working with Children Check for the State or Territory in which you reside.
