About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will oversee an extensive fleet of machines, driving market share and profitable growth through optimal utilisation of the rental fleet.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic plans for workforce planning, succession planning, and learning and development activities to ensure seamless business continuity.
* Negotiate contracts to achieve maximum time and financial utilisation.
* Network with sales teams and branch managers to ensure asset utilisation across the territory.
* Implement the fleet roll out and replacement program to maintain equipment efficiency.
* Collaborate on cross-functional growth initiatives to drive business results.
* Develop strong customer relationships and resolve escalated complaints in a timely manner.
* Oversee revenue and cost drivers to meet profit targets and contribute to business success.
* Monitor rental fleet inventory volumes to inform business decisions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive operations management experience in medium to large businesses.
* Solid knowledge of sales and business development methodologies.
* Strong leadership qualities and staff management experience.
* Ability to relate to customers and work at a fast pace.
