ASSISTANT MANAGER – GANT | HARBOUR TOWN PREMIUM OUTLET, GOLD COAST

GANT is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support the leadership of our Harbour Town Premium Outlet store. This is an opportunity to work within a high-performing environment where standards are strong, expectations are clear and results matter.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Assistant Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, elevate the customer experience and maintain operational excellence. You will take ownership of key aspects of the store’s day-to-day operations and confidently lead in the Store Manager’s absence.
You will lead from the front on the shop floor, providing real-time coaching, reinforcing brand standards and ensuring the team remains focused, accountable and motivated. This role requires a grounded and professional leader who brings consistency, fairness and composure to a fast-paced outlet environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Store Manager to achieve and exceed KPIs and store budgets
* Assume full leadership responsibility when required, ensuring continuity of standards and performance
* Lead, coach and develop team members to deliver strong individual and store results
* Maintain a consistent presence on the shop floor, setting the standard for service and presentation
* Drive customer engagement while upholding GANT’s premium brand standards
* Ensure operational excellence across stock control, visual merchandising, compliance and store processes
* Analyse performance metrics and take proactive action to drive trade
* Contribute to a structured, solutions-focused and accountable team culture
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
* Proven experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role
* Strong commercial awareness and confidence working in a high-volume environment
* Demonstrated ability to take ownership and make sound commercial decisions
* Confidence leading a team independently when required
* A calm, fair and solutions-focused approach with the ability to lead with professionalism and consistency
* Clear communication skills and strong follow-through
* High attention to detail and operational discipline
* Experience within outlet or premium retail environments will be highly regarded
