PX Wealth is an established Melbourne‐based financial services company specializing in providing financial advice in local and international markets. We are seeking a strategic senior, hands‐on HR operator to help design, oversee and own the HR elements associated with our growing team.
This role is a senior fractional engagement (approximately 1.5–2 days per week). We are seeking someone confident stepping into complex situations and taking ownership. The role is initially a 3–6 month engagement with potential to extend.
Performance & Accountability
Help design KPIs, role scorecards and hold team members to account.
Assess and address performance within the team.
Ensure documentation complies with Fair Work requirements.
Assisting with the implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practices.
Collaborating with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
Review employment contracts and classifications.
Assess award coverage and contractor risk.
Formalise disciplinary and performance frameworks.
Reduce employment law exposure.
Structure & Framework
Implement probation and review processes.
Support onboarding of new staff.
Clarify accountability and reporting structures.
This role requires execution, commercial judgement and confidence — not policy drafting in isolation.
What we're looking for
* 8+ years of proven experience as a senior HR generalist or business partner.
* Strong SME experience (not solely large corporate environments).
* Demonstrated experience managing performance from end-to-end.
* Deep working knowledge of Australian employment law.
* Confidence leading difficult conversations.
* Ability to operate autonomously.
* Strong commercial judgement.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* The ability to work independently and proactively to deliver high-quality HR solutions.
* Experience in a consulting or advisory role, supporting multiple clients, is highly desirable.
