People & Culture
team Working from our Brisbane City office and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you'll get to step into this role and make a real impact.

About the role
You'll be hands-on in keeping our People & Culture function running smoothly and will help us create a workplace people enjoy being part of. You'll get involved in everything from recruitment, day-to-day administration, cultural initiatives, ER assistance and driving the roll out of key P&C projects. Key Things You'll Do
Partner with leaders to coordinate hiring and onboarding so new starters feel welcomed and set up for success.
Help leaders navigate performance, wellbeing, and ER matters with confidence and care.
Drive the behind-the-scenes recruitment coordination from phone screens to interview scheduling, medical bookings and onboarding logistics with efficiency and warmth.
Ensuring we're compliant at all times by interpreting awards and legislation clearly and in plain terms.
Support regular people processes including performance development, salary reviews, engagement surveys (to name a few), ensuring they're delivered on time and are meaningful.
Keep our toolkit sharp by maintaining procedures, policies and standards so leaders have up to date and easy to use references and resources.
Support the rollout and upkeep of operational training materials so our site-based team members have what they need to work safely.
Dive into P&C projects including delivery of a brand new HRIS and other exciting improvements rolling out in ****
What you'll bring:
You'll be flexible, proactive, adaptive and able to play in the grey. You know how to figure things out and keep moving.
Experience interpreting Awards and applying them in real situations (or a solid foundation with the confidence to grow).
Confident owning recruitment tasks and processes, taking accountability and following through on tasks.
Have some hands on exposure to HRIS systems, other HR tech, or you may be curious to learn.
You deliver a great internal customer service, people find you approachable, responsive and great to work with.
A baseline understanding of employment law and eager to deepen it. We'll support you to build capability here.
You're organised and can juggle competing priorities (with guidance and support) without losing focus or your cool.
Attention to detail that is exceptional. You'll be someone who takes pride in getting the little things right without having to rework.
