Lead the activities of the Dive Fisheries Section to develop and implement marine resource management plans and provide fisheries policy and strategy advice to the Manager, Wild Fisheries and General Manager (Marine Resources) for the sustainable management of marine resources adjacent to Tasmania.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

* A Degree in Biological Sciences, Natural Resource Management, or equivalent tertiary qualification, relevant to the professional duties to be undertaken, as provided by a university.
* Five years' experience involving fisheries management, or assessment or equivalent experience.
* AIIMS or other response training.
