We are expanding our Sales team
Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a results-driven Sales professional to join our high-performing New Business team. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in expanding our footprint across Australia and making a significant commercial and operational impact on our clients' supply chains. You will be part of a vibrant, fast-paced culture, working with talented individuals, and benefit from our uncapped commission scheme.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and supply chain industry, looking to move into sales or have a background in sales with skills in lead generation, pipeline development, and securing new business opportunities.
1. Identify new opportunities strategically, develop call cycles, and qualify leads and sales opportunities thoroughly.
2. Maintain a multi-sector pipeline of new business opportunities and manage your opportunity pipeline effectively.
3. Manage the sales process from lead generation to onboarding, with support for closing complex deals.
4. Gain cross-functional knowledge of efm's operating model to offer tailored solutions to prospects.
5. Participate in onboarding new customers to ensure smooth transitions.
6. Collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
1. 1-2 years' experience in a sales role or in logistics and supply chain management.
2. A genuine passion for sales and curiosity about business models, processes, and workflows.
3. Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment.
4. Proven success in sales and achieving KPI targets.
5. Ability to work independently and engage with all aspects of the business.
6. Self-motivated with a drive to excel and succeed.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to challenge the status quo.
8. Analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen.
9. Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
