Emergency Vet Nurse Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Vet Nurse to join our dynamic team at Animal Referral Hospital Brisbane. This critical care unit is fast-paced, and you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical skills.
Our state-of-the-art facility provides exceptional emergency and critical care services to pets in need. Our ECC nurses work in a supportive team-oriented environment, often transitioning from general practice to the exciting world of emergency veterinary care.
* A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with a minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a busy general practice or referral hospital setting.
* Availability to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster.
* A friendly and easy-going nature, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* A strong work ethic, efficiency, and multitasking abilities.
* Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality patient care under busy conditions.
* Proficiency in anaesthetic monitoring and nursing critical and ventilated patients advantageous.
* Familiarity with RX Works, Smartflow, and Idexx blood machines advantageous.
