About The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to manage daily library circulation operations and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

This Role Will Include But Not Limited To

* Roster, supervise, and assist library staff in frontline services to ensure quality control of circulation procedures and workload distribution.
* Assist with the development and delivery of promotional, youth support, outreach, and other programs to increase awareness of library services.
* Lead the Library when the Team Leader is absent, including opening and closing the library, handling monies, and liaising with contractors and council areas to maintain the library.
* Provide advice and support to Senior Library Officers across the network for problem-solving and escalated issues.

About You

* Possess a Diploma of Librarian and Information Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Relevant experience in a library or customer service environment.
* Ability to undertake regular weekend work (any 5 in 7 days).
* Current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
* Strong communication and customer service skills, with initiative and sound judgment.

Pre-Employment Medical
Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment medical assessment due to physical agility requirements.
