The role of a Maths & Science Teacher at our school involves teaching the curriculum to Middle School students in a way that fosters a love of learning and a commitment to Christian values. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, delivering lessons that meet educational objectives, and building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining a safe and caring environment that promotes a love of God
2. Assessing student performance and providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development
3. Planning and implementing daily activities that achieve educational outcomes and meet the needs of all students
4. Fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and the teaching team to create a sense of community and belonging
The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in education, registration with the relevant teaching authority, and a demonstrated commitment to Christian values. Experience teaching upper primary and/or lower secondary levels is desirable.
