Job Description:
Serve as a key leader in environmental engineering, overseeing a team of professionals to drive projects forward. Estimate project requirements, schedule tasks, and assign work effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute environmental engineering strategies on small to medium-sized projects or portions of major projects.
* Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of assigned personnel, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
* Contribute technical expertise to meet client expectations.
* Promote development of environmental engineering discipline estimates and work plans.
* Evaluate bid proposals and make recommendations for award.
* Collaborate with clients to obtain approval of environmental aspects of the project.
* Review critical calculations, licensing evaluations, design documents, supplier information, and data.
* Foster professional growth among team members through training and mentorship.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of experience in a related field.
Required Skills:
* Compliance with current environmental regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.
* Ability to evaluate and optimize project design, functionality, constructability, costs, safety, and sustainability.
* Experience in bottleneck improvement projects and mining operations.
* Effective collaboration and coordination skills to work with diverse teams.
