Reporting directly into the Senior Leadership Team, this Assistant Category Manager role offers a commercially visible position within a business that is investing heavily in its next phase of growth.
With the organisation on a clear growth trajectory, opportunities to progress are expected across both Sales and Category, with scope for responsibilities to increase quickly as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creation & management of standard reports to enable insights on category, customer & brand performance
* Support the Sales team and SLT on back end running of key accounts. Mainly Woolworths and Coles, however, opportunity to work across P&C
* Monitor & analyse competitor performance & market activity
* Manage 3rd party category performance updates & support
* NPD post launch tracking & performance updates
* Price & Promotional analysis
* Ad hoc project support dependent on current business needs
Key Requirements:
* FMCG/Consumer Goods/Shopper Data Agency background ideally.
* Experience utilising a number of data sets including; Quantium, Aztec, Nielsen.
* Comprehensive analytical capabilities
* Strong communication skills – written & oral
* Computer skills with all MS packages
* Advanced Excel skills
