Key Accountabilities
* People & leadership: Coach and roster warehouse/packing teams, set clear targets, drive engagement and training. Maintain staffing to plan, own ER matters fairly and on time.
* Safety & quality: Champion WHS, Safety Walks/Talks, forklift safety and hygiene. Maintain HACCP, GMP, ISO9002 and environmental standards; ensure policy and statutory compliance.
* Operations & service: Manage inbound/outbound, loading/unloading and carrier compliance.
* Inventory & systems: Safeguard stock integrity, WMS performance and product traceability. Run cycle counts, investigate variances, and authorise the monthly D365 finished product variance report. Manage CHEP/LOSCAM pallet accounts across site and 3PLs.
* Planning & admin: Set daily picking schedules/order consolidation, receipt raw materials in D365 on day of arrival, and manage quality checks prior to put away by warehouse personnel.
* Cost & continuous improvement: Track spend to budget, reduce waste and drive productivity through structured CI initiatives.
Qualifications
* 5+ years warehousing/distribution supervisory experience (food/FMCG highly desirable).
* Solid logistics knowledge and practical understanding of relevant legislation (WHS/chain of responsibility).
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* ERP system experience, preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar systems like SAP.
