About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our engineering team at our Newcastle office. Preference will be given to candidates with post trade qualifications and proven experience in SCADA, PLC and Telemetry projects. To be successful in this role you will be required to hold Electrical Trade Qualifications and must have the right to work in Australia.
About You
Supported by our team of engineering professionals, and coupled with your strong interpersonal and problem‐solving skills, your responsibilities will include:
* Design, Development, testing and commissioning of industrial automation projects
* Electrical Installation Works and Drawing Mark‐ups
* Identify and advise on potential improvements & solutions on customer sites
Qualifications/Experience Required
* Current NSW Electrical Supervisors Certificate
* Ability to work unsupervised on customer sites
* A customer focused, team oriented and results driven work ethic
* Have the ability to carry out a safety risk assessment and complete JSEA, SWMS and Take 5 documentation
* Ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow‐through within a fast‐paced environment with multiple and competing demands
* Instrumentation or Engineering Diploma Qualifications
* PLC/RTU and SCADA experience
