Job Overview:
The Chief IT Operations Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for advanced IT-related queries and troubleshooting at the user level, providing intermediate support for network, server, and information security issues.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Server Management: Install and configure server hardware and software components to ensure usability.
* Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues.
* Security: Ensure strong authentication levels (e.g., MFA) for internal and client systems.
* Hardware Maintenance: Recommend, repair or replace damaged server hardware.
* Software Upgrades: Upgrade systems to enable compatible software on all computers.
* Endpoint Security: Install and upgrade endpoint security software to ensure security at the user level.
* Testing and Evaluation: Perform tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
* User Support: Provide support to users and act as a point of contact for error reporting.
* Client Relationships: Establish good relationships with clients.
* Data Backup: Conduct backup operations and validation.
* Redundancy Testing: Manage client security and redundancy testing.
* Documentation Management: Manage technical documentation.
