The Residential Youth Care Specialist will be responsible for responding to the emotional and functional needs of young people, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement individualized plans to promote the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of young people.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all young people.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care or similar tertiary qualifications).
* A genuine interest in supporting young people and promoting their wellbeing.
* Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation, including setting and maintaining consistent boundaries.
