THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead and working closely with department managers, the Recruitment Advisor is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment and selection process to ensure quality and timely recruitment of vacant positions in accordance with Pilbara Minerals Guidelines.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including compilation of position descriptions, advertisements and applications, candidate management, conducting interview and reference checks and subsequent employment offers to preferred candidates in line with business process and legislative requirements
Required to exercise judgment based on practice and precedence to evaluate situations not covered by procedures
Embeds key processes to ensure that performance and compliance requirements are met.
Aid in the implementation of standardised systems, governance and compliance relating to recruitment.
Demonstrates knowledge & understanding of technical resourcing and Human Resources principles and applies them in complex and non-routine contexts.
Has good working knowledge of basic business principles (functional, projects and operations etc) and how their discipline interacts with the business.
Able to apply a creative approach to problem solving and understands the application of new technology to assist in the attraction and selection of candidates ie: Linked In, Digital Advertising, Networking groups etc
Takes initiative to identify potential projects and opportunities.
Understands the implementation of best practices hiring process and candidate care
Provides proactive communication to Hiring Managers and other key stakeholders involved in the resourcing process
Provides Recruitment process expertise and advice to stakeholders – provides a feedback loop to other HR Business partners.
ABOUT YOU:
A minimum of 3+ years recruitment experience, whether internal or external recruitment
A people-person, with a strong customer service focus and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
A well organised individual with excellent time management skills
Strong experience in recruiting technical/professional and leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience working with onboarding and mobilisation functions
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
A good eye for detail
DESIRABLE:
A degree in Marketing, HR, Business or Behavioural Sciences highly regarded
Exposure within in-house HR function highly regarded
Experience within an internal resourcing function is desirable.
A solid understanding of a mining operation is desirable.
Exposure to PageUp highly desirable
Exposure to PRONTO highly desirable
Internal resourcing experience highly regarded
In-house onboarding / mobilisation experience highly regarded
