About the opportunity
As a family-centred Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be supporting children within a transdisciplinary team with the aim to enhance the lives of our clients to live life on their terms. In this role you will:
* Champion our Life Ready approach.
* Deliver high quality occupational therapy services across different environments - home, clinic, online.
* Utilise a coaching approach to support families to achieve their goals across all aspects of life.
* Collaborate and communicate with a range of stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you must hold a nationally recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy and a current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also have:
* Knowledge and skills in working with children and young people within a family-centred context.
* Be a team player who is passionate in supporting people to live life on their terms and build on their independence in the present and for the future.
* Enthusiastic to provide exceptional services to children that are blind or low vision.
* Being proactive and showing creativity is strongly encouraged.
* Willingness to support families across metropolitan and regional areas.
