This client is currently seeking skilled and passionate workers join their fast operating, quality team. Situated in Nambour, SUNSHINE COAST
THE ROLE;
The position entails more than just operating a forklift for loading and unloading trucks in the yard. The company is willing to train on specific attachments ("a frame") used to pick up rows of six crates wide by 5 crates high, moving crates for palletising, and organizing stacks. Safety regulations must be strictly followed throughout these operations. This role will also include working on the crate bay which is in ambient temperature and will keep you busy unloading empty crates, putting them on the cleaner / conveyor, washing the inside of vehicles to comply with food standards.
This position particularly focusing on the need for AM Shifts 0600 starts up to 12 hour shifts
Casual hours hours per week.
Requires flexibility of working different shifts. Availability across all shifts is essential.
Pay starting at $42 per hour
To be successful within this role, you will require the below attributes.
* Must have a valid forklift ticket, with proven counterbalance experience.
* Willing to work in Cold room
* Hold a valid driver licence and have own reliable transportation.
* Adhere to all oh&s rules
* Prior loading/unloading experience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
* Must be reliable with a can do attitude
* Ability to grasp new concepts rapidly
* Previous HAACP experience is an advantage
