Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Health and Physical Education Teacher to join the supportive secondary team at Heritage College. 
This is a Fixed-term Part-time position (0.8 FTE working Monday - Thursday). This position is open to graduates and commences as soon as possible and concludes at the end of the 2025 school year. 
Responsibilities 
- Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes 
- Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students 
- Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals 
- Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system 
- Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 
- Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College\'s Christian-based ethos 
- Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students

- Bachelor of Education 
- VIT Registered Teacher
