The Opportunity
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring product quality across goods-in, in-process, and final inspection activities. You'll work closely with production, supply chain, and leadership teams to identify issues early, drive corrective actions, and maintain robust quality systems.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing quality excellence with operational delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Inspection
* Perform in-process inspections across idlers, pulleys and winches using engineering drawings and client-approved ITPs
* Conduct incoming inspections on supplied components
* Raise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) within the ERP system, ensuring timely close-out and corrective actions
* Liaise with suppliers to manage non-conforming parts and verify corrective action effectiveness
* Manage the site calibration program (internal and third-party providers)
* Conduct internal audits of processes and documentation
* Prepare and complete ITP documentation for third-party inspections
* Host third-party inspectors in line with client specifications
* Generate inspection reports and quality KPIs
* Maintain detailed quality records
* Support ISIR and PPAP documentation
Technical & Operational Support
* Act as a go-to resource for product and technical quality queries
* Use precision measuring equipment including vernier calipers, micrometres, and height gauges
* Support the HSEQ Manager during site audits
Safety & Compliance
* Promote safe work practices and follow WHS guidelines
* Raise hazards and contribute to toolbox systems
* Assist in developing and delivering quality and safety one-point lessons
* Work collaboratively across departments in line with PROK's core principles
About You
You are a quality-focused professional who combines technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills. You're confident engaging with production teams, suppliers, and auditors, and you bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a quality inspection role (ideally within manufacturing)
* Internal auditing experience (formal qualification highly desirable)
* Knowledge of Integrated HSEQ Management Systems
* Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and ITPs
* Experience using precision measuring tools (verniers, micrometres, height gauges)
* Strong written and verbal English communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Advantageous
* Experience using a CCM Faro Arm
