Due to an exciting and rapid growth period, we have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our head office to support our bids on multiple facilities management and minor construction tenders.

We are a niche facilities management company and work in facilities management, construction and large scale advisory projects.
We challenge the status quo and are have hired the best team players to grow and in anticipation of the release of our largest tender (that we have been shortlisted), we are looking for team members to expand our existing commercial team.

With experience in building estimating models for complex tenders of $1m-$30m p.a. contract size in the facilities management space, the role will be a critical supporter of our commercial team.
Experience with annual contract values of $5M+ is required for this position.
Ideally you will have:
* Extensive experience in a similar role within the facilities management industry
* Hands on experience gained within a contractor environment in similar industries
* Bid estimating experience with the ability to prepare tenders for market including full compliance of tender documentation with client requirements
* Exceptional negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills to extract information from our suppliers.
* Exceptional bottom up pricing and take off ability to build estimating sheets that can give a "Should cost" model
* Advanced computer literacy including Excel and ideally estimating software
* Proficiency in estimating software is essential for this role
* Ability to collaborate as part of a high-performing team
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy of work
* Possess a strong work ethic, good organisational skills and can meet strict deadlines
This opportunity will require successful candidates to undergo a medical and police check.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
Whilst our head office is Melbourne, we have team members across the country and encourage you to apply from interstate/remote areas.
Due to the nature of the major bids there is an expectation that the role will be office based as part of our commercial team.
