About The Role 
The Production Operator - Cultivator is responsible for delivering a broad range of cultivation and horticultural production duties associated with the production of medicinal cannabis crops, and associated research, across Cann’s state-of-the-art Cultivation and Production Facility in Mildura. 
Responsibilities 
- Participate in all aspects of the cultivation life cycle from: cuttings, propagation, transplanting, fertigation & supplementation, maintenance of mother stock, harvesting, plant health management, waste management, pest & disease control, and cultivation/production area cleaning. 
- Participate in R&D;, cultivation, and production events while ensuring the cultivation team’s strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). 
- Operate and perform checks and maintenance on specialised machinery, robotics, and equipment within the production environment. 
- Establishing and maintaining cultivation and production procedures and forms within CANN’s Quality Management System (QMS) as directed. 
- Completes cultivation documentation/batch files/labelling in line GDP and participates in document reviews/evaluations. 
- Execute site-specific Integrated Pest and Disease Management (IPDM) strategies as directed. 
- Participates in the general upkeep and maintenance of the cultivation facility to maintain the site as clean, tidy and in good repair. 
- Contribute to process improvement within the cultivation and production environment. 
- Operates and monitors facility fertigation, climate control systems and other cultivation equipment and systems. Further, escalates and responds to alarms/faults in line with agreed procedures or instructions. 
- Participate in deviation investigations and report write-up. 
- Operate in compliance with site security policies and OHS and Quality requirements (GACP/GMP) through strict execution of SOPs. 
- Participate in Scheduled Drug Movement events. 
- Participate in procurement and inventory related activities as directed. 
- Maintain and restock production supplies as directed. 
- Prompt escalation of all cultivation, quality, production, OHS and security events/issues/deviations and crop health issues. 
- Attend weekly team meetings and other learning activities as directed. 
About You 
Qualifications/Licences 
- Tertiary or Diploma qualifications in Science, Agricultural Science, Production Horticulture or related field (preferred). 
- Pre-employment Security and Health Screening. 
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence. 
Experience 
- Experience in manufacturing and/or production horticulture (preferred). 
- Industrial machine operation, troubleshooting and maintenance (asset). 
- Food and beverage hygiene and production experience (asset).

- Ability to perform manual Labor tasks associated with cultivation events and general warehouse operations. 
Working Conditions

- Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 15kgs. 
- Temperatures range from 20 degrees Celsius to 32 degrees Celsius. 
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays as required. 
- Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms. 
- This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure.
