Term full-time vacancy up to 30/06/2026.

The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor, Prosecution Training Unit (PTU) is accountable to the Manager, PTU for the provision of prosecution services including adjudication, negotiation and advocacy and is actively involved in the provision of staff development and education. The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor PTU is expected to actively co-ordinate the training and professional development function with regard to solicitors within the prosecution function, in addition to developing, reviewing and conducting training more generally. The incumbent is also responsible for providing direction, development, leadership and support and for ensuring the health and safety of those under their supervision for the duration of any training courses, and providing guidance to all staff more generally. The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor is expected to act in accordance with the ethics of the legal profession.

Special Conditions
* The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
* The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some out of hours work may be required.
* Intra/interstate travel may be a requirement of the position.
* The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Requirements
* A degree in law and admitted (or eligible to be admitted) as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia.
* Possession of an unrestricted practicing certificate.
Salary

LE4 - $118,529- $129,582 per annum.
