Position Title: Cook

Employer: Fannie Bay Super Pizza

Location: Darwin, NT

Fannie Bay Super Pizza is a busy, long-established Italian restaurant in Darwin, operating for almost 50 years. We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team and support the preparation and delivery of high-quality Italian cuisine in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Position Description

The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food in accordance with established menus, quality standards, and food safety requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen
* Ability to prepare and cook dishes in a high-volume environment
* Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety practices
* Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
* Knowledge of Italian food and cuisine is an advantage

Key Duties

* Prepare, cook, and present menu items to a consistent standard
* Assist with menu preparation and portion control
* Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained
* Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering and storage
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service

This position is offered on a full-time basis with ongoing employment.
