About the Role
Are you a skilled professional with a passion for health and safety? Do you have experience in supporting HSES systems, audits, and assurance activities?
This role is responsible for assisting with the planning, improvement, and implementation of Health and Safety Management Systems. You will participate and coach operational leadership in the implementation of safety and Risk Reduction programs.
You will engage and provide guidance to operational leadership to improve organisational learning within health and safety. Your expertise in incident investigations (ICAM methodology) will be valuable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with leaders to support health and safety strategic goals
* Coach and mentor frontline leaders to build safety capability
* Support incident investigations and ensure effective closeout
* Drive implementation of Major Hazard Program and Risk framework
* Ensure compliance with health and safety systems, standards, and legislation
* Analyse safety data to identify trends and improvement areas
* Contribute to setting and achieving health and safety objectives and targets
* Promote visible Safety leadership and field engagement
* Support audits, inspections, and action closeout
