Along the illustrious Chapel Street, The Olsen Melbourne – Art Series, is a boutique luxury property offering apartment-style studios, one and two-bedroom suites, Spoonbill Restaurant (up to 80 guests daily) and Two Wrongs Bar (up to 100 guests). Purpose
As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in our Housekeeping department, keeping rooms super clean and paying attention to every detail. You will collaborate with the team and assist guests as needed to ensure a wonderful stay and memorable hospitality.
Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean all sections of guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping surfaces to ensure an exceptional first impression
Follow established guidelines to uphold our high cleaning standards
Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organized and well equipped
Use cleaning materials safely and adhere to safety protocols
Respect guest privacy and security, upholding comfort and discretion
Report maintenance issues promptly to support a flawless guest experience
Qualifications
Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus
Warm and welcoming communication style with guests and team members
Attention to detail, effective time management, and pride in task execution
Comfort with a physical role and navigation of internal/external stairs and pathways
Ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays
