About the Role:
As a member of the Family Relationship Centre within the Clinical & Social Services Team, the Family Dispute Resolution Advisor is responsible for delivering information, support, referral, and case management services to clients. You will work with separating or separated families to support child-focused, sustainable outcomes in line with the Family Law Act.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing information, support, and referrals with the wellbeing of children as the central focus.
Completing client intakes and risk assessments.
Conducting Child in Focus sessions.
Participating in business development and networking activities.
All services must be delivered in accordance with the Family Law Act, the Family Relationship Centre Operational Framework, and CatholicCare's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
An associate diploma with relevant experience; OR
A relevant certificate with relevant experience; OR
Experience gained through previous appointments, service, or study at an equivalent level; OR
Demonstrated capability to undertake the required activities.
A current C or CA class driver's licence (QLD).
Core Competencies
Ability to work with diverse families and manage sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
Working knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to the role.
Ability to use computing systems effectively and manage your own schedule/calendar.
Other Requirements
Review client needs to ensure appropriate and efficient service delivery and referrals.
Complete all client intake and risk assessment processes.
Undertake community engagement to promote CatholicCare programs and increase client participation.
Develop and maintain community networks with agencies and stakeholders in consultation with your line manager.
Participate in regular team meetings.
Ensure accurate data entry and program reporting in line with funding and organisational requirements.
Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
