Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint to the position of Orderly - Thearte to provide a dedicated Orderly service within Broome Regional Health Campus, Perioperative Department, Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) and Day Surgery Unit. This includes assisting staff with patients as needed, a detailed and highly specific cleaning program, maintenance of adequate consumable stock levels and the provision of an internal courier service. The position also provides generalist Orderly services within the Health Campus, under the direction of the Coordinator Support Services and Clinical Nurse Manager – Theatre.
