Your day will be a blend of clinical excellence and collaborative leadership. You'll manage a varied caseload including cardiology consults, diagnostic procedures, and interventional care, while overseeing the Coronary Care Unit and Cardiac Investigations Unit. With access to on-site angiography, cardiac CT and MRI, and comprehensive echo services, you'll deliver advanced care to a diverse patient population. You'll engage with colleagues across departments and hospitals, contribute to strategic service development, and play an active role in education through your affiliation with the University of Queensland. Whether you're leading multidisciplinary case reviews or mentoring the next generation of doctors, you'll be at the heart of innovation and impact in regional cardiology care.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $368,514 (L18) up to $460,349 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
