At Village National Group, we are looking for Camp Attendants to join our remote mobile camp teams, supporting Australia's oil and gas projects.
This role is permanent full-time and provides a unique chance to work in solitude, with a fantastic work/life balance. Work in an Allrounder role - responsible for laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, camp coordination tasks, preparation of the dining areas, and packing lunch packs for the crew; for between 20-30 camp residents. You MUST have at least 2 years' experience working hospitality to be considered for this role - ideally in housekeeping/cleaning.

We are currently recruiting for multiple Camp Attendants across various locations in remote Queensland; you will need to get yourself to Toowoomba as the meeting point - we store your vehicle securely
Being a Camp Attendant at VNG includes:
Laundry and housekeeping
Cleaning of the accommodation cabins, kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas
Assisting in the coordination of maintenance tasks for the camp
Assist the Chefs and Camp Manager with basic food preparation including chopping vegetables / packing the crew lunch packs, etc
Assist the onsite client in maintaining and driving a safe working culture
Day and night positions available
Take ownership of the wellbeing of your peers, clients and others in the camp
The Camp Attendant must possess attributes including:
Safety focused

Friendly approachable attitude
Adaptability and resilience
Ability to successfully work well in very remote environments in outback Queensland
To be considered you MUST have:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in hospitality (ideally FOH/Housekeeping)
Unrestricted full Australian working rights - this is a permanent full time long-term career opportunity (No Working Holiday Visa's or Visa's with temporary work rights)
Strong mental health and understanding of psychosocial hazards - you will be working in the middle of the desert in small and isolated camps
High levels of resilience and adaptability
Be physically active, healthy and fit - needed as per all of the requirements of the role
Keen focus on Workplace Health and Safety Standards
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
A National Police Clearance (valid within 3 months, or be willing to obtain)
PMASUP236 Valid Operate Vehicles in Field (4WD) Certification (minimum 6 months validity, or be willing to obtain*)
All applicants will need to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical, including drug and alcohol testing (our mobile camps are "dry-sites")
Industry Safety Induction - oil and gas industry (or be willing to obtain*)
Please note for the essential 4WD and ISI courses/certifications - VNG will cover the upfront costs, and this will be deducted from your first few pay cycles
