About the role
As a Site Supervisor - Sprinkler Fitter at D A FIRE Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction sites. This is a full-time position on sites throughout Syndey, the office is based in Crows Nest, NSW. This role is ideal for an experienced fitter who is looking to move to a supervisory management position.
What you'll be doing
* Supervise and coordinate the work of sprinkler fitter teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns that arise on site
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
* Provide technical guidance and support to the sprinkler fitter team
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project manager
* Assist in the planning and scheduling of work activities
* Identify and address any training or skill gaps within the team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as sprinkler fitter and / or a Site Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry, specifically in the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
* Robust understanding of fire sprinkler system
* Excellent problem‐solving and decision‐making skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Solid leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate a team
* Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
* Valid driver's licence
