Teaching and Training in Engineering
We are seeking a skilled professional to deliver high-quality engineering education to students. As an educator, you will be responsible for teaching hands-on welding techniques and equipping students with valuable trade skills for future employment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver Education: Teach students welding techniques and provide them with opportunities to develop their skills.
* Maintain Workshop & Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of welding tools and machinery.
* Ensure Safety & Compliance: Educate students on workplace safety, proper equipment usage, and industry regulations.
* Support Rehabilitation & Career Development: Help students build confidence, discipline, and career opportunities post-release.
* Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Encourage teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving skills in a supportive setting.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in Engineering or a related field.
* TAE40122 or TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (AQF 4) or equivalent.
* Teaching experience in vocational education is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable working in an engineering workshop.
