Yourtown Job Development Coach
As the Job Development Coach, you will be on the frontline, delivering tailored employment services to young people living with disability. You will coach, guide, and empower our members to overcome barriers, build work readiness and secure sustainable employment.
This role involves:
* Conducting individual assessments and developing personalised job plans.
* Creating inclusive employment opportunities by engaging with employers.
* Advocating for young people and supporting them into meaningful work.
* Providing ongoing post-placement support to ensure long‐term success.
* Collaborating with internal teams and community stakeholders.
* Promoting youth‐first, strengths‐based approaches to employment.
What we are looking for

* Experience in Disability Employment Services (DES) or similar and a readiness to apply it with purpose and impact.
* A high degree of emotional intelligence: self‐awareness, self‐management, social awareness and relationship management.
* The ability to thrive in dynamic youth‐focused environments and build genuine connections with young people.
* A comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by young people living with disability and a commitment to helping them overcome these through employment.
* The motivation to achieve measurable outcomes and belief that employment is a powerful gateway to independence and self‐worth.
* The readiness to make a meaningful difference every day with every young person.
