The newly renovated Citadines Elizabeth Street Pier Hobart now seeks an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated person to join the Front Office team as Business Development Manager. This full-time role will report to the General Manager and work closely with other departments. Citadines Elizabeth Street Pier Hobart is set to open its doors in July 2026.

In this role you will be responsible for:

* Developing and executing sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the property.
* Building, managing, and growing relationships with key accounts to meet business objectives.
* Identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities to maintain a strong sales pipeline.
* Representing the property through site inspections, networking events, trade events, and industry engagement activities.
* Monitoring market and competitor activity while contributing ideas to improve sales performance and promote the property.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

* Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in a competitive environment.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage key stakeholders effectively.
* Experience in identifying new business leads and converting them into successful outcomes.
* Good commercial awareness, including the ability to monitor market trends and competitor activity.
* Strong organisational skills, including the ability to manage CRM systems, maintain account intelligence, and work collaboratively within a team.
