Senior Software Engineer – iOS

Our Software team are the brains behind Australia's number one banking app, Netbank, StepPay, SurePay, Credit Cards journeys, Travel and Dining. Alongside web and mobile development we create reliable APIs at a unique scale in Australia.
As a Senior Engineer you'll be responsible for leading and promoting continuous improvement, developing technical roadmaps and improving the quality of technical solutions by implementing industry best practices. You'll work closely with other technical leaders and product owners to document new changes and drive various initiatives. It will be key that you communicate well with the squad members, provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers in the team, whilst tackling interesting challenges. You'll also be involved in all aspects of delivery from solution design and development to production rollout.

Tech Skills
* Strong hands‐on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and familiarity with Objective‐C.
* Advanced experience in software design and architecture principles in mobile.
* Developing testable and observable systems – TDD, unit test, UI test and snapshot test.
* Monitoring app health, crashes, and logs – AppD, AppCenter or AppDynamic, Splunk.
* Understanding of CI/CD pipeline – TeamCity, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
* Knowledge of public cloud along with various back‐end APIs and systems.
* Experience with AI/ML, Agentic AI, or the banking domain is a plus.
