DREAM NANNIES - NANNY OVERSEAS - LONDON UK A Year in London: Mothers' Help, Au Pair/Nanny for Aussie Family (May 2026) We are seeking an adventurous, warm, and responsible nanny to join a fantastic Australian family in London, N1, for a 12 month placement. This is an exciting opportunity to provide essential support to first-time parents and their newborn baby while experiencing life as a local in a vibrant London neighbourhood. The London Host Family This is a professional, down-to-earth Australian couple who have built a thriving life in London. The mother works as a Managing Director (with flexible hours) and the father is an Investment Director. They are sociable, active, and passionate about their careers. They enjoy: Socializing, hosting friends, and visiting local pubs. Long walks, exploring new areas, and good coffee. Travel (and the successful applicant may be invited on some family holidays). They are looking for an Au Pair/Mother's Help with similar energy: someone who is family-oriented, social, passionate, upbeat, and enjoys keeping busy. The family is expecting their first baby boy in March 2026. The baby will be approximately 8 weeks old at the start of the placement. Role: Mother’s Help / Live-in Nanny, assisting with the transition to parenthood. Duration: 12 months starting in May 2026 Duties: Supporting daily baby care routines (feeding, napping, changing), light housework (tidying, laundry, light cleaning), cooking for the child (when age-appropriate), and some occasional errands. Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week. This will primarily be daytime support. Occasional evening babysitting and weekend hours are required (to be planned in advance). Salary: Negotiable and inline with UK National Minimum Wage requirements. The Home and Location Home: A newly renovated, spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house in Harringay, London, N1. The home is large, bright, and spread over four levels. Au Pair Accommodation: The applicant will enjoy a high level of privacy with their own large, private king-size bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the top floor of the house. Location: Harringay is a desirable, well-connected neighbourhood, close to cafes, pubs, shops, and green spaces like Finsbury Park. Transport: Excellent links nearby Driving: A driver is required, and a car will be available for personal use.
