The Role
Teachers in the Hedland Senior High School Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) team focus on creating outstanding outcomes for students and empowering every learner.
They are a collaborative, supportive, close‐knit team. Teachers deliver a range of courses from Year 7 to Year 12, including senior school Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and general courses as well as lower school electives such as World of Money, History Mysteries and Crime and Justice.
The successful applicant will strive for excellence in HASS teaching, learning from colleagues and sharing innovative ideas.

Eligibility

* hold an eligible teaching qualification
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start
* consent to a screening clearance number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start
