The Materials Planner plays a pivotal role in managing andoptimisingthe supplyof rawmaterials,raw materials componentsand bulk liquids acrossglobal and localinternaldistillery sitesand third-party operators. This position extends beyond traditional materials planning,stretchingyouwith astrong emphasis onimproving decisions through strongerdata analysis, demand and stock forecasting, inventoryoptimisation,and continuous process improvement.Operating in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment, the role works in close partnership withbroader Demand &Supply Planning,localManufacturing, Procurement, and external suppliers to ensuretimelyreplenishment,accurateMaterial Requirements Planning (MRP), andensuring thebroaderorganisationis informedacross supply continuity so risk can beminimisedacross the supply chain.Ensureaccurateplanning and management of bulk liquid supply, wet materials, and ingredients to meet production requirementsAnalyseinventory and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data tooptimisestock levels, reduce aged and obsolete materials, ensure orders are placed on time, and proactively communicate supply risks to stakeholdersMinimum 2 years' experience in materials planning, supplyanalyticsor relatedbroader consumer goodssupply chain rolesor similar industries such as heavy industries,pharmaceuticalsor medical devicesStrong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills andhands-onexperience using SAP (ECCrequired; S/4HANA exposureadvantageous)Demonstrated ability to manage inventory,Material Requirements Planning (MRP)accuracy andsupplier facingplanning activities in afast-pacedenvironmentProvenproblem-solvingskills with the ability to resolve stock outages, deliverydelaysand planning issues proactively**Flexible Working:**Flexibility is key to our success.
