About the role
At the Colac Port Adelaide, we are seeking casual Floor Staff, Bartenders and Restaurant Supervisors to play a vital role in providing an exceptional customer experience in our vibrant, fast-paced hospitality venue. In these positions, you will be responsible for a range of front-of-house duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our bars and restaurants, Bootleg Social, Eliots and Belles Botanica. At the Colac we proudly serve only Australian beer, wine and spirits, and provide training for our staff to enable them to champion these local products, as well as develop their hospitality skills more generally. The Colac also incorporates the exciting new distillery and brand home for the multi-award winning Imperial Measures Distilling, as such, we have a focus on high-level spirit and cocktail service. Applicants with experience, knowledge and/or interest in distilled spirits and classic cocktails will be highly regarded.
What you\'ll be doing
Providing friendly and efficient table service to customers
Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to our menu and specifications
Communicating with and educating guests on our Imperial Measures spirit products, as well as, tailoring our wide range of proudly Australian beverage options to their tastes
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the bar and dining areas
Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation
Ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed
Contributing to a positive team environment and providing excellent customer service
Ensuring our guests at the Colac Port Adelaide have an amazing time!
What we\'re looking for
Previous experience in a similar hospitality role, preferably in a cocktail bar or restaurant setting
3-6 months hospitality experience preferred
Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Good knowledge of a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, high level barista and/or cocktail skills preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work a adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
An RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate or the willingness to obtain one
Must have Australian work rights
