Job Ad Description:
Hero Home Services is looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse & Trades Support Coordinator / Handyman to support our technicians and keep jobs running smoothly.
This is a practical role suited to someone who enjoys organising, problem-solving, and working both in the warehouse and out on job sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Organise, prepare, and stage materials in the warehouse for upcoming jobs
* Ensure technicians have the correct parts and equipment ready before jobs
* Pick up materials from suppliers as required
* Deliver urgent materials to technicians on-site when needed
* Provide labour assistance on-site to technicians when required
* Carry out handyman-style work including:
* Minor gyprock wall repairs and patching (if my technicians damage walls and ceilings
* Painting touch-ups after installations
* Fixing or maintaining tools and equipment where possible
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, trades assistant, or handyman role
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
* Good hands-on skills and problem-solving ability
* Experience with basic repairs (gyprock patching, painting, general maintenance) highly regarded
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to help where needed
* Valid driver's licence (essential)
