KAEFER Integrated Services Pty Ltd is currently seeking experienced Advanced Scaffolders for ongoing work throughout various project locations in Australia, including Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia and Queensland Region.
Pay: $76,****** – $86,****** per year
Job duties include erecting and dismantling scaffolding to provide work platforms on building, industrial and other sites, for temporary structures such as access ways, stages and catwalks, and for the purpose of painting, repairing, seating, disguising building facades, etc.
Responsibilities entail checking construction requirements by visually inspecting the access location, selecting materials and setting ground levels, fitting together steel pipes, supporting braces and clamps to form bases for scaffolds, lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding, bolting pipes together to build up scaffolding, placing planks over horizontal bars to create platforms, checking levels in scaffolding structures, using prefabricated scaffolding when available, and dismantling scaffolding at the completion of a job.
Ensure correct tagging of scaffolding is in place and that all scaffold components and structures comply with current Australian & New Zealand Standard AS/NZC **** and all other relevant standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Advanced Scaffolder.
OHS Construction Induction White Card.
Current High Risk Licence.
Working at Heights ticket.
Confined Space Access ticket.
Drivers Licence.
Strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to ensure strict deadlines are met in a timely manner.
