The role:
As a Tenancy Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage the tenancy delivery process from concept to completion for a major retail client partner. This involves driving high-quality outcomes, highlighting opportunities during approval, and ensuring compliance.
You need to be flexible and adaptable to resolve complex issues, leveraging your expertise to oversee processes in line with the Tenancy Design Guide and Fit Out Manual.
A key part of the role is ensuring all stakeholders meet their commitments within timeframes and budgets while maintaining safety standards on site.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure tenant fit-out timelines align with the centre's opening targets and lease start dates
* Monitor compliance with approved designs and quality standards during construction
* Conduct final inspections and ensure all certifications, like occupancy certificates, are obtained before tenant opening, and manage defect resolutions
* Act as the main liaison between retailers, leasing teams, and centre management to facilitate communication and resolve issues
* Manage Landlord Works delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets
* Ensure all on-site work complies with SWMS, legislation, contractor requirements, and centre guidelines
* Provide post-handover support for tenant concerns or operational issues
Who are we looking for?
* Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large retail or commercial fit-out projects
* Strong knowledge of tenancy design, fit-out processes, and sustainability practices
* Deep understanding of Australian building codes, accessibility standards, and relevant legislation
* Proficiency in design software and project management tools is preferred
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices
* Ability to manage and coordinate multiple parties effectively
