We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Registered Nurse, Medical Doctor, or related healthcare professional to support our client's healthcare team with patient triage and clinical research activities. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance direct patient interaction with data-driven and research support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient triage by assessing symptoms, urgency, and clinical needs via phone, virtual platforms, or in-person as applicable.
Prioritize and route patients appropriately based on established clinical protocols.
Collect, review, and document patient information accurately in the EHR.
Support clinical research activities, including data collection, documentation, and basic analysis.
Assist with maintaining research records in compliance with healthcare and privacy regulations.
Communicate effectively with physicians, care teams, and patients.
Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, safety standards, and HIPAA requirements.
Requirements
Degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related healthcare field is a must.
Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting operations in a U.S.-based healthcare setting is a must.
Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience conducting patient triage in a clinical or healthcare environment.
Familiarity with clinical research processes and documentation standards.
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills.
Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $7 - $8 per hour depending on skillset and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.
